Military Survival Series

描述

A class 2 survival CV that requires player level 10 to unlock. Primary role is a mobile base/support/starter ship. It comes without constructors, weapons/turrets, and grow plots. However, it has designated places for plenty of all of them. This was done to save time and costs for ship construction. Here is list of parts you will want:

6 Constructors
72 Grow plots
5 Turrets (no artillery)
4 Plasma guns or rocket lauchers

This ship does not require any Erestrum or Zascosium ore to build. Being built with combat armor it does require a fair amount of Sathium/Iron.

Features:

1. Spacious crafting area with everything you could want... once you get the constuctors built at least.
2. Hangar
3. Flight deck with two landing areas
4. 72 grow plot farm...
5. Top, Bottom, rear access
6. Compartmentalized O2
7. Warp Drive
8. A lot of storage

New thrusters all around, New cargo controllers, Wifi, Detector, Shields in the landing bay ceiling. Extenders in the core wall, More generators behind that. Advanced RCS. Guns galore. And this is a POI buster. Knock out their guns, Then launch an HV to go inside and finish the job. It's worth the effort to update, Because it's built like a battleship. All combat steel.

plopped ship down in creative to see how it feels, and it's 6+ tons too heavy to even lift off while empty

This is just a badass ship hands down. It was like finding an old battleship and updating it. Love this thing. It's my new mobile home.

Thank you k.mason960, Guðmundr, and Pantoffeldiertje. Yes, this creation is really old and has not been updated to any newer version of the game. I might be able to work again but would need new storage, CPU tier blocks, maybe more lift thrust, etc. I built the carapace-c3 and updated it better. It is a little bigger than this one thou. Thanks again all!

@Guðmundr I guess this one was already incompatible with the betas to begin with, as it's quite old. But you could modify it of course.

Are these older blueprints still usable today after the big updates?

I love this ship,seems to be the right size for me and it can carry the big HV's and SV's. i just add some more fuel tanks and 4 up thrusters for the heavier planets. would love to see an update for this. good work. while i have tried other CV's i still come back to this one.

Thanks charlie.razor and andreykl! And Merry Christmas! I been digging into the new storage a bunch now. I have 2 new creations coming soon using it. I am still holding off just a bit longer before wanting to do some overhauls to existing stuff. The carapace is planned one. But, I want to more than just switch the storage. But, if I will keep it around the same price, maybe slightly more for some sensors and potental lights thou. I also want to get it to a new color scheme. Again thanks for the info! I do plan on trying to get most existing ships updated in the next month or two.

Note: maximum vertical lift cargo capacity is around 7,5Kt for 1g (with a bit reserve acceleration left to switch to forward thrust to lift yourself). More if we switch inner armor to carbon composite.
