F1 ASR 2017

F1 ASR 2017 is a mod created and used in a league named F1 Advanced SimRacers League. Its a mod which is supposed to make you feel the Formula 1 2017 season, including 2017 models, drivers and sounds.
This mod was created by BlackGoku (Alejandro Lopez) which was the person who led some successful projects in rFactor 1 like the well known mod named F1LRCLUB-VCR 2013.
This mod has a lot work done as we tried to simulate every single aspect of F1 2017 cars in physics but also in visuals, sounds and cameras.

We please you to not confuse us with the other ASR modding group. Our ASR name comes from Advanced SimRacers and our official web page is this one:

We always make our mods for FREE, so be sure none ask you money for this mod because they would be trying to cheat you.

The ERS system of the modern hybrid engines in Formula 1 is not something rFactor 2 can properly simulate yet but we tried to do so by using the turbo pressure.
You have 6 turbo maps, first is the slowest and sixth is the fastest. You have 160 HP of difference between 1 and 6 (to simulate the ERS) and you can have fire in your engine if you use high maps during too much time in the race.
You also have engine mixtures to save fuel. Both types of maps (boost and mixtures) have to be used to save fuel during the race.

The fuel tank is about 140 liters in real life (105 kg) and the mod has been dessigned to make races of 75% laps of real life with these settings:

- Fuel Consumption: Normal
- Tyres Consumption: Normal
- Engine Failures: Normal (You can also use Time Scaled but then the time scale must be x1)
- Damages: 80% - 100%
