描述
Large, 5x5x.5 magnetic flat pads for hauling needs. Large and small grid. Designed with the intention of providing a large, flat locking surface to hopefully be less clangy when trying to haul things.

Ok, I found out with the Build Info mod why these are not working properly. The first problem is that the lock area covers only half the center block's area instead of the whole surface. The second problem is that the lock area is a third of the thickness of the landing gear's lock area for both sizes, which means the small block pad's lock area is so thin that it can't detect anything.
For the record I compared them to the vanilla landing with no mods that modify them.

Large one works fine, it's the small one that won't lock at all.

Hey, this mod looks amazing, but in the 6+ months i've had it, i have never got it to work. Right now i have the large pad on top of my ship and nothing will lock, not even a light armor block

I wonder if you could add a version with a longer lock on range to help with building in a gravity environment? I find building on a planet to be the biggest pain in the arse ever because I accidentally knock over or delete the block holding the whole thing up right. If I could place something like this on the floor, then place my first block about one large block's hight above it, and the platform holds it still so I can build off of it, that'd be just grand. :)

....what? I made this myself? It's not a copy of any other mod. I still have the blender files. As far as the code I literally use the vanilla definitions for Keen's landing gear but modified them to match the size.

Works (fresh world, only this mod active). Textures are fine and they lock. Well done :)

I'm aware of the pink textures. I haven't been able to fix them for whatever reason
