After reading this post on reddit, I dived into the game to check.
The seams are there, and really showing, so here is a mod to correct this.



This mod correct 4 faulty textures done by PDX:
- savannah_01_diffuse.dds
- savannah_02_diffuse.dds
- savannah_02_specular.dds
- barren_04_normal.dds (misaligned)
It also correct these bugs :
- weird poles of mars
- rings textures beahaving weirdly, restoring animated clouds and replacing the continental texture by the gaia one.
- cubemap_filtered_ldr textures that are reflected in the oceans and the edge of the black holes (mainly), the texture is completely corrupted, I replaced by a very dark star background.










The mod is completely save game compatible, you can activate/deactivate the mod without any impact.


This mod, should NOT conflict with ANY other mod.
Ironman compatible
Achievment compatible.

If you notice another faulty texture, leave a message and I'll try my best to correct it.

    - Added gaia texture to FE ringworlds
  • 1.2:
    - Correction of corrupted cubemap texture resulting in disgusting lighting on oceans on the night side of planets
  • 1.1:
    - Correction of Mars poles
    - Correction of faulty ringworlds textures

there is more than 2 gaia textures but when your playing you only have 2:
One of the IG textures and the ugly generic green toxic looking one

@Commenters, for those whome aask for update cuz stallaris iscomplaining the mod is out of date. ignore that, stellaris checks for a pointless number that checks if the mod is for the current version, the mods till works, its just a 0.0.01 off or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

@Dwaine(Author) Bug tho: you gloriously ahve a compatability mod between immersive galaxy and reaslpace (YAY) but this specific mini-patch is not covered by that, and produces some interesting results with some planets and ringworls in lue of 'scaling'.

for some reason, this mod makes planetary rings really thin and even disappear from the distance.

so i know this is a pretty big Necro but since these mods still mostly work can someone let me know why the clouds are broken with this mod enabled, or is it not needed anymore?
