PIXELGRAPHER'S FILMIC LIGHTING MOD

A graphics mod that Improves colour grading by mimicking a Filmic tonemapping transform, which is closer to how film would react to light in real life. This helps to avoid blown-out highlight areas by increasing the target white point. The overall image is much softer and lower in contrast than the default colour transform.

This is the ETS 2 version. Click here for the ATS version.
If you like bloom, click here.
If you like dark nights, click here.

In addition, this mod
  • Removes the bloom effect
  • Improves vegetation movement in wind
  • Slightly tweaks climate values

REQUIRES HDR ENABLED!
If you feel that the overall contrast is too low, I recommend coupling this mod with a SweetFX or Reshade preset.

Compatible with version 1.35.
Mod must have high priority. Not compatible with Realistic Graphics Mod or any other mod that modifies weather and climate. This does not, however, include mods that change sunset and sunrise timings such as Actual Day-/Nighttime Mod. Pure texture mods should also be unaffected.

That's sad, I liked how sunny the game felt with it and still not so saturated as like Frank's graphics mod. By the way thank you @rado84 on how to disable bloom. :Kolobok:

The author said he wouldn't remake it but I found a way to disable bloom without any mods!

For those with Linux:
navigate to ~/.local/share/Euro Truck Simulator 2/ and open the file config.cfg.

For those with Windows:
navigate to C:\Users\[your-name]\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\ and open the file config.cfg.

Find the following lines and make them look like this:

uset g_bloom_standard_deviation "0.0"
uset g_bloom_filter_radius "0"
uset g_bloom_resizing_steps "0"
uset g_bloom_override "0"
uset g_bloom "0.0"

Then save the file and start your game. Voala - no more annoying bloom! ;)

I have a doubt: I'm playing using TSM for v1.34 so, this mod has version control and can work there?
I read that it had support for promods. This mod worked until what ets2 version?
