Sinclaire's Estate

Sinclair's Estate, a remake of Elexis's estate from SiN (1998) . I doubt many people have heard of the game, since it's an underrated game, but I used to play it when I was very young. This level has a special place in my heart.

This particular map is the first half of the entirety of the estate map. The original game split the map into two separate levels and I have started on the second half of the map in this remake. I've also added some of my own unique elements to the map, such as a hallway for guest rooms, a kitchen, bathrooms, and other areas I felt would be appropriate adding.
I tried combining the both into a single level and had only finished it 75% of the way. I have not yet finished it and I do not know when I will. The engine that it was built for is now getting old and a lot of time has passed.

I know Garry's Mod is still somewhat of a relevant game today (as of Sept 2025) so I don't feel like it is too late to jump back into it, if I decide that is what I want to do. I've since moved into the Linux world, and I would need to setup another machine with Windows to get Hammer to work. I am not certain that I would be able to work with Hammer in Debian 12 or 13.

I feel like this could make a really great hostage scenario kind of CS map. There are some secret ways into the building and I tried to make the level a bit non-linear, with different paths toward the same destinations. Adding NPC path nodes would be another thing I'd probably do. I'd like to expand the basement and create more doors to reach various areas of the building from the basement.
