[Fighter Blueprint] Terran (ATF) Fenrir M3+ [X3]

The AGI Task Force is an independent, elite branch of the Terran military established for the sole purpose of combating the artificial general intelligences of the Xenon. Headed by the M0-class flagship Valhalla, the ATF fleet consists of some of the most powerful vessels in the X3 universe.

The Fenrir is the ATF's heaviest and most capable fighter. It is fast by M3 standards and extremely well-shielded, and is able to mount a blistering twelve Terran Electro-Magnetic Plasma Cannons, several of which are on turret mounts. These weapons combined with the ability to carry Poltergeist and Spectre missiles make the Fenrir absolutely devastating to other fighters, and it is arguably the single best superiority fighter in the known universe. If the Fenrir has a weakness, it is only that it isn't very versatile - it lacks any sort of weapon option to threaten larger capital ships, and like most Terran fighters, its weapons can be difficult to source en masse.

In its intended role as a superiority fighter, however, the Fenrir is essentially unmatched. It is little surprise that the ATF will only sell the Fenrir to associates that have gone to great lengths to earn their trust.

This build of the ATF Fenrir is based on its appearance in X3:TC. It is exactly 200 blocks. It took a fair amount of part clipping shortcuts to be able to do the entire thing without the block count getting over 200, so it's really messy if you pick it apart - the engines, especially. All in all, though, as a fighter blueprint, I think it looks pretty good.

Screenshots (besides the auto-generated preview image) show fighters at true scale - when you use this blueprint to produce fighters, that's the level of detail you can expect from the final product.

This ship is intended for use as a fighter blueprint, as it lacks the critical ship components necessary for player control.
