People love a good comeback, and in the sporting world, perhaps no redemption tale is more impressive than that of George Foreman.

Having entered into a de facto retirement after a bad loss in 1977, George Foreman became an ordained minister and regained a sense of control over his life. Ten years later, he decided to make a return to the ring, stating that "40 wasn't a death sentence." Although at a year where most fighters would have already hung their gloves up for good, Foreman started racking up wins yet again, taking down solid opponents.

After two failed attempts against Evander Holyfield and Tommy Morrison, Foreman would challenge Michael Moorer for his Heavyweight belts. Their fight would go on for ten rounds, with Moorer picking his older foe apart, fighting at distance. Into round ten, Foreman was on his way to another defeat, but as was the story of his comeback, he may have suffered a temporary setback, but did not give up. Instead, twenty years out from when he last held the Heavyweight title, George Foreman would land a solid jab, setting up a short, deadly right hand that would put Moorer on the mat and win back the title.
