描述
Former amateur wrestler Chad Gable signed with WWE not long after competing for the United States in the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Gable found success in NXT after forming American Alpha alongside Jason Jordan. Gable and Jordan had outstanding matches and rivalries with the likes of The Revival and Blake and Murphy.

After the team was drafted to Smackdown, American Alpha competed at the top of the tag division, winning the Smackdown Tag Team Titles in Fall 2016.

When Jordan was revealed to be Kurt Angle's biological son, American Alpha split as Jordan left the Smackdown brand. Gable wouldn't be on his own for long, as he was partnered up with the returning Shelton Benjamin.

In 2019, his name was changed to Shorty Gable after months of short jokes. The name was soon shortened to Shorty G.

Ugh. Hate the name change so much. I realize it's the official WWE thing now but Gable deserves so much better.
