Gong Xi Fa Cai! As the Year of the Dragon draws to a close, we re-release the Chinese New Year pack from the dawn of the year, on the 23rd of January 2012. The wonder pack features five Chinese wonders - Gulou, a Drum Tower buillt in Beijing by during the reign of Kublai Khan; Jiayuguan Fort, the westernmost and Most intact pass of the Great Wall; Shanghai World Financial Center, a marvel of engineering; Xuankong Si, a temple built in the side of a cliff; and the Yellow Crane Tower, one of the four great towers of China. The pack is entirely modular, so if one of the wonders doesn't appeal to you as much as the others it can easily be disabled within the XML folder.

Requires either expansion pack, and credit to Co-author Sukritact for all icons and the cover image for the wonder.

Most of these are awesome but after living in Beijing for 6 years I have to say Gulou is not really what I'd call a "wonder." It's neither very big nor very intricate. With your skill at making mods I would have preferred to see Sun Yat-Sen's Mausoleum fill up that space. Not sure what it would do, but I'm sure you could think of something.
Props for giving Jiayuguan its due though. Because of its location it doesn't get a lot of attention but the fortress and the "First Pass" are both amazing in winter.

Gulou causes my purchase tiles amount to go negative, thereby paying me to buy additional tiles, nice right? Not so much as at some point all my population disappears, as in they don't work my city will have like 14 population, I can add 1 person back to working on the map, I can add as many as I have specialist slots, but any more than that I can't do anything with and suddenly I have starvation warnings.

Nevermind this was caused from the LoadScreen mod and not yours! Cheers- great mod! Love the wonders!

The Yellow Crane Tower causes BNW to not allow the City production tab to come up. Once I research Education I can no longer select my City production.

For anyone else like me who likes this mod but is running BNW, it really is a simple fix to make it work: in the XML, just change <TradeRouteModifier> to <CityConnectionTradeRouteModifier> for the Jiayuguan Fort <Building> entry.
