gm_places

A background project that I started working on about a month after my final revision of gm_rooms. This one took five months and I wanted to release the whole thing before I decided to have any more ideas with it. I've worked harder on this map than I have with the last and I hope it shows!

This map takes place in an abandoned research facility. The only road to this place or anywhere else has been destroyed. With seemingly no way to get out. Trapped in basically a bowl of earth, grass, and trees.

The top of the map is dedicated to a nice large and detailed sandbox area with a lake for making boats on. And the lower part of the map offers some places for sandbox+rp style fun too. It's not specifically meant for rp. But I set it up so that if you wanted to, It would at least make some sense with the theme of the underground area.

Lastly. Have fun with the big toy in the basement.

I suggest you mount your cs:s and both of the hl2 episodic content packs to see everything.
