描述

While he had success as a tag team wrestler alongside his brother Raymond (as the Rougeau Brothers) and later Pierre Ouellet (as The Quebecers), Jacques Rougeau is remembered by many for his singles run as The Mountie in the early 90's.

WWF announcers made sure audiences knew that The Mountie did not represent the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (especially while in Canada).

The Mountie's greatest singles acheivement was winning the Intercontinental Title from Bret Hart while Hart had the flu. The Mountie would lose the title within two days at the Royal Rumble, the shortest reign in history at the time.

Thanks! Yeah, no nerve pinch yet. The chin lock looked closest, but he did use a choke bomb too. If I missed that, I’ll add it tonight.

Thanks for this. I guess they don't have the nerve pinch yet. Strange finisher. For some reason I remember when I was young he threw them to the ropes then had both hands around the neck and slammed them down and then continued with nerve pinch. Fun CAW.
