  • Production ends: 1968
  • Top Speed: 105 MpH
  • Tractive Effort: 288.0 kN

The Pennsylvania Railroad's GP9s were built around 1954-1955. Starting in 1960, the PRR's diesel paint scheme changed from having the "Pennsylvania" text to having ample use of the PRR's keystone logo all over the locomotive. These locomotives were used later under Penn Central and Conrail before retirement. PRR chose to run their GP9's long hood forward, and this is accurately represented in-game.

This mod includes asset versions of each locomotive, as well as multiple unit versions for double-headers.

@YouBlewIt - Please disregard my prior request for "Penn Central EMD GP9". I've been doing some repaints lately and will likely get to this eventually.

@sergeant_Oddball - Regarding your request for "Geep into both Soo line schemes", I have already done Soo Line maroon (but haven't uploaded yet) and am working on Soo Line in white and red. I hope to upload both to workshop soon.

May I request getting the SD40 in Wisconsin Central, as well as the Geep into both Soo line schemes? (the maroon and gold, and the white and red one)

May I request reskinning the SD40 into SOO Line colors (specifically the white/red/black 'Hockey Stick' scheme. If not that, then may I also request a reskin of the P42DC into Amtrak's Phase III scheme

@YouBlewIt - Haven't tried it yet, but it looks great in your images! Appreciate the work you have done on this and other repaints. Mods contributed by the community is what keeps this game fresh and entertaining.
