UAZ (Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant) produced cars in Ulyanovsk, the USSR / Russia. The car, produced from 1958 to 1967, was the first independent production model of the plant. A characteristic feature of this series was the absence of a rear side door, from the side of the passenger (except 450V version): loading of cargo or landing of passengers was carried out through the rear doors, and on prototypes and serial vehicles of the first issues, the side front doors opened against the movement
