Kioki Chalice

An ancient prosperous society that favored bright colors and intricate embellishments that can still be seen amongst the ruins. The overall design of the island reflects that of a chalice as it once served as a ceremonial gathering spot. Their strange obession with birds lead to the creation of the island's main feature, a nongrappable shaft that runs through the center of the island. Young men and women would take the leap for a chance to claim the treasure that lay only one perfectly timed grapple away.

While the wealthy viewed the great spectacle from the upper level of the island, the immense numbers of ships that they brought with them would use the bottom two levels to park and camp over the multiday event. Now over grown with trees and various wildlife, these levels still contain hidden tunnels once used by smugglers who would steal whatever treasures they could find while their owners were gone.

Adventurers must take caution at every grapple. Dangerous turrets remain active throughout the island and can pose significant challenges.
