[Fighter Blueprint] Teladi Falcon M3 [X3]

The standard M3 of the Teladi, the Falcon is built from a fusion of Split, Boron, and Argon technologies. Like most Teladi vessels, it was built with profit in mind rather than combat efficiency. Falcons and the numerous variants thereof are employed as light cargo vessels as often as they are combat fighters. By M3 standards, the Falcon is quite slow, but it packs a large cargo bay and above-average shielding. It is capable of mounting a fair variety of weapons, though because of its poor laser capacitor, it really isn't able to use most of them very effectively in comparison to other M3 class vessels. The one noteworthy exception is the Energy Bolt Chaingun - the normally prohibitive ammunition requirement of this weapon is not a problem for the Falcon due to its generous cargo bay.

Some intrepid carrier commanders have found a way to make use of the Falcon and its variants as a carrier bomber, loading the cargo bay up with Tornado missiles and pointing it in the direction of other capital ships. This has proven to be an expensive but surprisingly effective use of the Falcon.

This version of the Teladi Falcon is based on the standard variant of the ship as it appeared in X3:TC. It is exactly 200 blocks. I had trouble finding good reference images for the ship's rear end, so I did the best job I could with what I could find.

Screenshots (besides the auto-generated preview image) show fighters at true scale - when you use this blueprint to produce fighters, that's the level of detail you can expect from the final product.

This ship is intended for use as a fighter blueprint, as it lacks the critical ship components necessary for player control.
