For as well known as he is for his time in WCW and WWF, Vader was a megastar in Japan. Vader wowed audiences with his strength, but his aerial ability was rare for a man his size.

In the US, Vader won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship three times. Vader never captured the WWF title, although was close on several occations. In Japan, Vader wasa multiple time Heavyweight Champion in both NJPW and AJPW.
