Ascension, Arrow 4D Coaster

Legends speak tale of Princess Anneke, a daughter of the Great Pharaoh of the desert, of whom upon one fateful journey a sandstorm laid waste to the entire royal traveling party leaving but the few alive with no hope of reaching civilization again. The princess, however, refused to accept defeat and with the faith of the Gods she rallied her people through the desert. The people thought her mad, with no roads to follow and little supplies remaining they were surely doomed, but the conviction of their princess gave them strength and so they followed her.

When the vastness of the desert offered no direction Anneke sought the assistance of the Gods and the stars would signal the way. When the last of the water ran dry Anneke beseeched the Gods and without fail an oasis would appear on the horizon. When the heat and exertion grew too much, Anneke, reminded them all it is through the sun strength is gained and they would feel their bodies float along the sand.

After many days Princess Anneke and her traveling party arrived on the great city and the people spoke of the great miracle they had witnessed. The Pharaoh had erected a temple in his daughter's her honor at the sight of the sandstorm to pay veneration to the Gods who provided her safe return.

The Gods themselves blessed the temple with magical energy creating geysers of water where none should exist, solid rocks and structures to soar into the air, and life to spring and flourish among the desolation of the desert. It was here that the Princess Anneke through her faith had ascended to the immortal realm of the Gods.

From this day forth people would make pilgrimages through the great desert to the Temple of Anneke. Once there they would participate in trials of ascension to prove their faith as the Princess Anneke once did. Ascension to become closer to the Gods!

Today, though the ancient temple now lies in ruins, magic still abounds in the air and the trails of ascension reside awaiting the faithful. Do you believe? Do you have what it takes to reach Ascension?
