During the Battle of Cato Neimoidia in 19.1 BBY, the 442nd Siege Battalion was sent to destroy Trade Federation strongholds. The battalion was skilled in besieging large enemy fortifications. They attacked large strongholds and bases.The battalion utilized ISP swamp speeders and All Terrain Recon Transports. The troopers within this unit were identified by their lime green markings. They used DC-15S and DC-15A blasters. The clone troopers inside the 442nd Siege Battalion used ISP swamp speeders and AT-RTs for both transport and attack purposes. These vehicles were often marked with the same green markings as their armor.
