AA Platform

While multiplayer might not currently be the best, it will eventually harbor the ability to have planes attacking your ground equipment, and when that happens, what will you do? If you're low tier, you're not going to have many missiles to help you out.

You're gonna need an anti-air platform.

This platform comes equipped with several shields and healing bubbles, plus a few GSO batteries hidden underneathe the craft. It also sports eight large towers bristling with weapons that are well known to be able to take on arial targets; Mortars, Venture Hailfire rifles, and even a few upwards-facing GSO 3-pound cannons. Even an AI proves to be a deadly foe for any low-flying aircraft.

To prove the deadliness of the platform, take it into the R&D test chamber, make it an enemy (done by holding T and left-clicking on the tech) and try to take it out using a plane. It proves to be very difficult, especially at low altitude.

While missiles are still the best remedy for assaulting aircraft, sometimes you might not have any. And in that case, you pull out your trusty AA Platform and destroy the incoming attackers...
