trade_tbgsatellite

Here is another TF2 map port, this time of a retired map known as TBG Satellite. This was mostly uploaded for my friends to play on it, but feel free to download this beautiful map!


You will need to have TF2 mounted for this map to work.
The map will be underneath Team Fortress 2 in maps, due to the trade_ at the start of the map name. Simply look under "Team Fortress 2" in your map browser and find "trade_tbg_satellite".

If you are getting missing textures, my only possible explanations are one of two things: either you do not have TF2 mounted or you downloaded the map via connecting to a server and not the green "Subscribe" button. Make sure you have TF2 mounted in Garry's Mod before opening this map!


I (Froo/Sevey) did not create this map! The original map-maker gave the heads-up to host the upload here, and so this will remain on Gmod for as long as he is okay with it.




It is a map from an old server group for people to hangout on known as The Brothers Googly, hence the signs around the satellite. The TF2 server was a server in which many people would come together and either hangout or screw around, but one thing was consistent: the server used its own set of unique maps not seen on other servers. One of the server owners died, and slowly caused the server to fall apart until it was shut down. While TBG may be dead, the events of the server still carry on. This map is on a space station, and is meant to be a hangout map for those who played on the server. While the server is no longer in service, the legacy of TBG will still be carried on in the memory of those who used to frequent the server. This is but one of TBG's maps, and will remain to be one of my favorites and even my friends' favorites. This server, which has been shut down in 2015, is the reason for TBG_Satellite to exist. Even though the server may be dead, its maps still float about out in the internet.
