This is the 4-3-3 Tactic I used during the beta whilst managing Liverpool FC. It saw me finish 2nd in the Premier League, win the FA Cup and finish runners up in the Champions League. The team scored 74 goals in the league which was the highest in the league with a variety of goal scorers including 22 goals for Salah from the left, 20 for Firmino from Striker and another 5 players reaching double figures across all competitions.



The tactic revolves around a dynamic and fluid midfield which look to make runs off and ahead of the complete forward. The 2 CM's need high workrate as they'll be important in ensuring the striker has options to pass to. The 2 IF's play very high up the pitch and look to man mark opposition fullbacks resulting in them being on the shoulders of the defence. When the ball is won they'll try and get in behind or create channels for themselves and others to move into.

This is not a plug in and play auto win tactic, you will need players to fit the roles within the team and it's important that your team are given time to train this tactic and familiarize themselves with it. Trying this tactic without any preparation for it will very likely not be successful. Please do not leave comments saying 'I played one game and lost 2-0, tactic doesn't work'.

Please note this is currently untested in the Football Manager 2018 non-Beta match engine.

Don't usually leave feedback for tactics on here, but I took over a relegated Colchester and decided to use this tactic. I recieved £1.8m in transfer fees and only spent £205k and still won the league. I won the League with 7 points clear, only lost 6 games (most of which were injury problems at the end of the season), I scored 80 goals and conceded 41 and went 22nd August - 27th February unbeaten. Definitely going to use this tactic in League One

This tactic is great for results but terrible for the players. I get at least 2 injuries per game, and in one game 5 injuries!!!
