描述
Ratys, the original author, is currently working on a rewrite of this mod. This version is an update of the older version and only for the impatient ones.

Adds new upgradeable storage solutions based around the concept of "quantum stockpiles"; those of you familiar with Dwarf Fortress likely already know what it does.

Updated and slightly edited version of Quantum Storage by Ratysz.
As it's released under GPLv3, I decided to upload this great mod till he returns.
Please inform me if it's not ok and I will delete this upload immediately. Source included.

Features
  • Quantum stockpile
    placed in stockpile zones, draws items (or chunks, if researched) from adjacent spaces onto itself, storing more than one stack of items in a given space.

  • Quantum warehouse
    placed in stockpile zones, networks all of the zone's quantum storage devices to act as one; also acts like a quantum stockpile.

  • Quantum relay
    free-standing structure, connects to any quantum warehouse anywhere in the colony to transfer items and chunks to and from said warehouse.

Hi there, I'm currently pretty busy IRL and thus had to reduce 60+ hours of mod development per week to 0.
I might be updating this mod in the future, but as time is rather limited and I also have original mods, I highly doubt it will be within the near future. Maybe someone else wants to give it a try, source code is up on GitHub.

another vote for a version 1 update. I've used quantum storage through several of the betas, even pre-steam if memory serves and It's great.

I have used it in 1.0 after 2 ingame years suddenly all pawns are freezed. haha it was defintely a bug from quantum storage mod because it happens at placing the quantum storage for the first time. ^^

Really looking forward to an update of this mod for 1.0. Like Devestatio said, this mod is so freaking helpful for large colonies/endgame. Not sure where he said it where you believe he's rewriting the mod, but here on steam, Ratysz said he's not updating quantum storage after the point where he made it.

Hey Killface,
Not sure if you're still actively modding, just wanted to see if there are any plans to update this to B19/1.0. It looks like Ratysz has d/ced support for his mod. It's been so weird playing without this mod; having to think about storage is such a pain when building aesthetic bases haha. Thanks again!

+1 for an update, this mod is an absoulte necessity for large colonies and endgame playthroughs.
