I'm sorry but at the moment I am no longer working on Don't Starve mods. I no longer play the game and thus feel no need to continue working on anymore. I wish I had the knowlege/pacients to fix known issues, but sadly I don't. If I decided to get back into this game, I will continue to work on and improve my mods.

I want to balance Freddy out A LOT because he's pretty damn over powered. So people should tell me what changes they want to see. Anything from basic stat changes or changes in abilities is helpful. Keep in mind though, I am not a programmer so incorperating new abilities might take awhile for me. Also I'm a full time student soooooooo homework and classes are first priority.

Also some people like ridiculously OP characters. Just let me know. There's a good chance I'll have two version of this mod released: OP version and balanced.

Update:
Decrease speed base speed. Originally it was 1.7 or something really high. Now it's just like 1.1.
Does more damage to sleeping enemies.

Start with his brown fedora which slowly resorts sanity and keeps you slightly dry.
Starts with his glove.

Health 150
Hunger 150
Sanity 50

Sanity gain at night, lost during day
Negative aura
cant sleep, because who sleeps if youre already dead?
Working nightvision - that only activates at night, and works for both client and host
More damage to sleeping enemies.

If ya'll want to nerf Freddy yourslef some, here's this hand dandy mod some other person made because night vision is as broken as hell.

Know problems: His glove will turn invisible if you have it equipped when you launch/join a server. Just unequip it and then re-equip it, and it should be back again.

My only complain is that he doesn't have Wortox's ability to steal souls since I think it'd be much approriate for the obvious reasons.

I honestly feel like Freddy isn't OP in the slightest. More so he's a glass canon. He does a shit load of damage, but in return isn't very tank like. One thing I think would be cool is if he had a mechanic to put something to sleep and it would have a long recharge to prevent spamming. But it would just be a wave of his hand and maybe a laugh and whatever it is would fall asleep, allowing Freddy to get in 2-3 powerful strikes since he does more against sleeping beings. While I don't think the hat should have durability, the claw probably could have some, but it would still last a decent while. One more thing is allow him to craft the green and red sweater, which would be used for decent winter protection. But I really like this mod, probably my favorite out of all the ones you made :)

Would I have your grace to create my own slasher mods, since you are no longer updating / interested? And would it be okay if I used little bits and pieces of your codes with proper credits?

he should be able to put enemies to sleep but have like a 15 second cool down

Could the red color during nighttime nightvision be made a little less intense? It's kind of hard to look at.

I love the Freddy mod, character looks great. Only complaint is when I equip the Tam O' Shanter. The hat is set way to far back and looks ridicuolous. My buddy is currently dying of laughter because of how ridiculous it looks. Just a heads up.

Freddy can strengthen himself by killing and absorbing her soul. Will he be able to raise his attack, armor and speed after killing a unit and all his powers will be lost if Freddy is killed。
