Mansion #2

A second version of a mansion. Built as a Modern Mansion. Has a basement!

(3x2 lot size)

The Mansion is designed to resemble modern houses in California and/or around the Palm Beach area of Miami. The whole is not based on any house in particular, so if there is a resemblence it would be purely coincidental. With that stated, however, some of the interior designs were based off of some general images I found on the internet. Highlights for what I tried to focus on are primarily focused on the basement. It was very tricky to get such an angle for the road to go down while maintaining the front in the position I wanted. The pool in the backyard actually has one of the walls that lead into a game room portion of the basement, so while one is throwing a party in the bar area, one can also view persons swimming. I tried to feature skylights leading into the main hallway and the two residential wings.

In order to build the basement, I had to first create an artificial platform of dirt and grass (using copy and paste commands), and then I sculpted from there. To upload the building, the text for the lot was modified dropping the height by 5 blocks.

The overarching idea of this house was for it to be used by a tech-savy millionaire, or a "Scarface" sort of character. As such, this would definitely fit the scene if the Schemer missions are capable of spawning here.

I didn't exacly plan out the bathrooms too well for this house, so although there are bathrooms, they are very, very cramped.
