One of the major turning points in the Monday Night War was the debut of Scott Hall on Nitro under the assumption that he was part of an invasion force. Hall promised that he'd bring company with him, and within a few weeks, Kevin Nash made his WCW debut.

The Outsiders took on three of WCW's best at Bash at the Beach, promising that they'd have a third man. In what would become one of wrestling's greatest moments, Hulk Hogan turned heel and joined The Outsiders to form the New World Order (nWo).

As part of the nWo, Nash would win nine tag team titles (mostly with Hall) and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship five times (losing the title once in controversial fashion to Hogan's "Finger Poke of Doom." Nash also won the 1998 World War 3 Battle Royal broke Goldberg's undefeated streak after a stun gun attack from Hall.

Nash was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015/
