Enable Devmode
  • Open your Steam library.
  • Right click on Far Cry and select properties.
  • Open "Set Launch Options"
  • add -devmode














OR
  • Create a shortcut to your Farcry.exe.
  • Right click your Far Cry shortcut and select properties.
  • In the target line, add -devmode to the end:
Enable Godmode
Go to the directory where you installed Far Cry and open the file
DevMode.lua
in a text editor like Notepad. Scroll all the way to the bottom of this file and you should see a line that says end. enter a couple of line breaks after that and then paste this in to the file:

if (not god) then
god=1;
else
god=1-god;
end
if (god==1) then
System:LogToConsole("God-Mode ON");
else
System:LogToConsole("God-Mode OFF");
end
end
Input:BindCommandToKey("#ToggleGod()","backspace",1);

For anyone having issues with God Mod not working, the format for the code above is messed up, but if you follow the author's source link (cowgod.net) the code is correctly formatting there for you to copy and paste. For some reason, steam messes up the formatting. The console will not read the code correctly as a result.

Once you've pasted it, run the game and hit the 'backspace' key, you should see green text in the upper left hand corner saying "God"

Weapons work but you need different patch if nothing works even god mode that means that probably you need other patch:) (mine didnt work but i downloaded amd patch)

It's only a shame that the all weapons cheat doesn't apply to the M249, I don't think I was able to do that even BEFORE Far Cry came to Steam.
