Yn Edryl Koiran - King's Glade

The King's Glade is the enourmous clearing in Athel Loren where Ariel and Orien hold court. It is a vast city, hidden amongst the branches and roots of the great oaks which surround it.

This map is meant for campaign, as the custom map for King's Glade in Athel Loren. I wanted to try something different for the wood elf sieges, and that is why I made custom wood elf towers to defend the city. Because a wall would not fit the theme, I have worked to create defensive positions throughout the map, to give the defending player and advantage while still staying true to the feeling of a Wood Elf siege battle.

I would really like your feedback on the towers, because they're quite experimental.

The big glowy circles on the defenders side are the capture points for the towers!

The battle is listed as GCCM: Yn Edryl Koiran - Wood Elves, as a Minor Settlement Battle. It will have the CA logo next to it, nothing I can do about that.

Sadly, because these are not traditional towers, the AI simply refuses to capture them. So they don't make full use of them, but that isn't really any differen than in normal wood elf battles.

The towers are 51% damaged, that is intentional. Don't worry, they have the same amount of health at 50% as a normal tower does at 100%.

This map took ages to make, but it's finally done. I could not have done it without some help though!
Many thanks to Roodboi for the work he did on the terrain, it was a very great help. Thanks also to Kazad and Zoidberg for their help in creating some more assets to place around the map.

Have fun with the map, and let me know whether you think it would be a nice idea to include towers like these for all of the Athel Loren settlements!
