IT'S JUST LIKE DARK SOULS BUT WITH LUA!

WHAT THE HECK DOES THIS DO???
  1. This is for scripters / people willing to learn scripting only;
  2. Say you have over 10+ objects on your table and you need to get all their GUIDs so you can work your functions on;
  3. Right clicking them all, copy pasting into variables etc yadda yadda is a waste of time in my opinion;
  4. Save this abomination into your chest and spawn it on the table you're working on, press the button and voila, all GUIDS are listed on a lua table just for you. Copy and paste it to your amazing top hacker scripting code and you're all set to work.

This might crash your game if used on a table with TOO MANY objects (like over 100), so please be considerate.

The reasons this monstrosity exists are:

  1. I'm lazy to right click every single object in the table just to get their GUIDs;
  2. Then i also have to put them on tables because LUA IS ALL ABOUT TABLES, BOOOII;
  3. I wanted something to practice lua on;
  4. I like memes;
  5. I like making stuff to make my other stuff easier to do;
  6. Other reasons i can't think of now because i'm sleep deprivate at the moment.

Right click the tool and Save to your chest so you can spawn it later and use it on any table.
Please avoid doing so when you have """"""friends"""""" on the same room because even though i tried implementing anti-spam measures, IT DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK. you've been warned.

KNOWN BUGS (a.k.a. Please help me fix them, i'm horrible at lua)
  • Anti-spam measures are all over the place, sometimes work, sometimes doesn't;
  • "Free Souls" button doesn't work for all the tabs created. You click it, some tabs vanish, some don't. Don't know why;
  • If you remove a notebook tab while the "Free Souls" button is visible the flag that stores the ammount of tabs won't reset and you'll not be able to create new ones due to my anti-spam measure (yeah now it works);
  • The output table seems to have a trailing comma even on the last element. that's not supposed to happen. FIXED!!

Nice to see it still has its uses. I haven't been on Tabletop Sim for a while after a horrible experience with pub servers.

I'll see what i can do. Maybe it's possible to integrate with this tool. If it gets too complicated to use, i'll make a separate one.
