[Fighter Blueprint] Terran (Aldrin) Spitfyre M3 [X3]

A general-purpose heavy fighter from the lost colony of Aldrin, the Spitfyre is known for being the fastest M3 ever designed, even able to run down some M5's. As the Aldrin colony lacked jumpgates or even trans-orbital accelerators for most of its history, it was imperative for Aldrin ships to pack powerful engines in order to get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. Besides its exceptional engines, the Spitfyre carries above-average shields, and is also capable of mounting two powerful weapons - the Experimental Electro-Magnetic Plasma Cannon and the Prototype Matter/Anti-Matter Launcher - allowing it to fill either heavy fighter or light bomber roles. The Spitfyre is an exceptional M3 in the hands of a skilled pilot, though due to its incredible speed, it can be difficult to control. More than a few inexperienced pilots have met their ends by losing control during attack runs, sending their Spitfyres careening into their targets.

This build is based on the X3:TC version of the Spitfyre. It is exactly 200 blocks. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Screenshots (besides the auto-generated preview image) show fighters at true scale - when you use this blueprint to produce fighters, that's the level of detail you can expect from the final product.

This ship is intended for use as a fighter blueprint, as it lacks the critical ship components necessary for player control.
