Ford RS200 '85

描述
The Ford RS200 is the late effort made by Ford of Europe AG to jump in the mighty Group B wagon. The car, conceived as a small, light, mid engined maneouverable car, could've became a success, but Group B's demise cut its wings, maybe too soon.

In order to made it "Street based", as all the Group B cars must be, Ford made 200 street legal cars, also represented in the mod.

Project begun by Robban_9000 long ago, and left unfinished for whoever wanted to put it ingame. I did.

CREDITS:
3d model: Robban_9000.
Java/cfg scripting, RPK editing: Caballo.

I tried to get the car as close as possible to real numbers for the street legal version. You can, obviously, try to reach the 400+ hp the Group B version car had. Might update the car if I find out how to add a second array of rear shocks/springs.

Well, since you're the only person complaining about the mod in two years, I'll have a look at it, and see if there's any problem with it. thanks for the heads up, but, next time, you may want to use some other words than "not a recommended mod for this game". There's work behind every mod, and you haven't been any polite at all. See you.

Another thing, the update is cited as October 31st, 2017. The steam version has been updated vastly since then...both with DLC and minor patches....making this mod obsolete. Im sure this works fine in for the initial release of the game as well as the 2.3.0 Live edition; but for this version -the version on steam- it is far from stable.

I have no suspension mods, nor do i have any other mods that have failed me as bad as this mod has. Its crashed my game on startup and when it didnt, it crashed when using it. I also dont know who this "We" is as the only people you credit for this mod is the original creator who, according to you, left it UNFINISHED. In a clean installation it crashed my game still.

Furthermore, its way unbalanced as any time i try to trade in the car i get the "Dealer doesnt want it because its unprofitable to them" message. I have tried every type of tyre on the car with the same result: turn too hard and you flip...dont turn hard enough and it doesnt turn at all.

Well, I tested it in 2.2.1, 2.3.0 and Steam version, along with some more people, and none of our tests exposed anything like what you're mentioning. Maybe you have some too many failed mods that cause the game to crash, this mod doesn't.

Also, the car turning over might happen because of a suspension mod you have installed. In a clean installation, it doesn't turn around. You should review mods in a clean installation, since we, the creators of content, can't take into account every user mod list.

Chasis does not deform whatsoever. Every turn i take turned the car over. No option to make it a rally racer. Crashed my game every time an opponent crashes into me. Had to do a clean install of the game because just removing it via the workshop installer didnt actually remove it. Its a malicious mod in an already buggy and crash prone game. Id remove it and fix these issues or put a disclaimer.
