GRAND HYATT - RICO

Great 5 star hotels are a must-have for any great city. For high-end tourists, for celebrities, heads of state, executives and politicians travelling on business, flight crews, and for balls, conferences and red carpet events.

This asset is based on the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, and is designed for a CBD location. The tower is a replica of the Grand Hyatt Melbourne tower, while the podium is based on, not a replica of, the hotel podium. The podium of the Grand Hyatt Melbourne is an odd shape, so Ive modified it to fit on a 10 x 10 square. Ive also given the hotel an outdoor pool. Melbourne is quite cool for 6 months of the year, so the Grand Hyatt has an indoor pool.

The project was conceived in 1981. The developer wanted to create “the best hotel in the world” with a food court to rival those of the Ritz in London and the Plaza in New York. The Grand Hyatt Melbourne was completed in 1986. It is 104m tall, with 32 floors above ground, and 4 floors below ground. It’s cost at the time was $240m, and a $45m redevelopment was completed in 2007.

The Grand Hyatt Melbourne is a luxury 5 star hotel, featuring:
- 12kg of 24 carat gold, infused into the tower windows (per Hyatt website)
- Central location in the most prestigious part of Melbourne’s CBD
- 550 guest rooms, incl 84 Clubrooms and 25 Premium Suites
- Luxurious Italian marble bathrooms
- Grand Club Lounge located on the 31st Floor
- An array of bars and dining options
- Extensive, purpose built Meeting and Event spaces across 4100 square metres, for private meetings of 10 people, upto cocktail style receptions for 1500 people.
- Fitness Centre, indoor pool/spa/steam/sauna.

Guests are treated to immersive art installations, bold architectural elements, stunning views and extraordinary amenities as they move through the hotel. Throughout the hotel, unique features of local flair appear in art and architecture, with striking designs, rich, vibrant patterns and finishes.

Shops include:
- Louis Vuitton
- Chanel
- Emp orio Armani
- Bvlgari

The building is classified as: Commercial / Tourism / Level3 (find it under the "cog" tab in RICO)

Getting missing assets for
AUDI A4 and AUDI Q7
also Parking Lines Plus requires Decal Prop Fix which is deprecated.
Such a shame I have to unsub because I'd like to have this in my city =(
