STAR WARS Y-wing (Outdated)

The BTL-A4 Y-wing assault bomber was designed and buit by Koensayer Manufacturing during the Clone Wars where it saw wide use by the Republic Navy and subsequently the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. With the rise of the Galactic Empire, most Y-wings were scrapped or sold with the notion that capital ships were the dominate arial force. The Rebel Alliance aquired many of the remaining ships through black market transactions or outright theft and it became a driving force behind their assault campaigns.

Armed with two forward heavy laser cannons, two proton torpedo tubes, as well as an internal proton bomb bay, the craft was primarily used for bombing operations due to it's high speed and heavy armor, though it was capable of filling the role of attack fighter when needed. It was typically a single pilot craft, however several variants were designed to accomodate a gunner behind the pilot's seat to man the Ion cannons, the gunner position later giving way to an automated targeting system. It was also equipped with a hyperdrive, deflector shields, and an astromech droid and became a staple in the Alliance fleet for years.

It's finally here, my version of the Y-wing. Had some fun with this one. I included a kinetic bomb bay with warheads though it only works in atmosphere and I HIGHLY advise slowing to 45m/s or less before deploying.

Once again, not thruster friendly (I try but its just too difficult to get the right appearance, sorry everybody!) Also, the thrusters do not engage upon pasting for whatever reason so be sure to paste either in orbit or very close to the ground to avoid catastrophe if you have block damage enabled.

Let me know if you run into any issues with the bombing mechanism, it's not perfect but I got it to work well, though the piston head occasionally breaks for some unknown reason.
