Well, that was fun, thanks. Well-made indeed. I solved it the "unofficial" way that was mentioned in the comments. I figured it out on my own, and then I went to the comments section and found out that that wasn't the creator's intended solution.

@fazbbear1889 Easy for someone who has completed the singleplayer story and is comfortable with the basic game mechanics and maybe played a few workshop maps.

If you need a hint: the first thing that you need to do is get a portal on the laser, so that you can connect it to the recepticle

Yes, I agree there's no reason to "burn your legs" if the puzzle is solved correctly.
