FF-6 Giona II Frigate

Most of the ship has been entirely rebuilt. New guns and missiles have been installed, the entire armor scheme has been replaced, and even the reactors and engines have been replaced. Naturally, these upgrades have increased the mass of the vessel substantially, to the point that it fits right into the Andromeda Drive Yards frigate lineup.


Upgrade list:
96x Vulture and 16x Albatross missiles replaced with 120x ASM-3C Nova missiles
75MW 1.2m high-temperature laser replaced with 100MW 1.2m high-temperature laser
4x "Needler" railguns replaced with 8x high-velocity MCR-3B railguns
1x "Lil' Sidewinder" railgun replaced with 1x high-velocity MCR-4D railgun
Entire armor layer replaced.
2x 69.1MW Reactors replaced with 2x 100MW Reactors
4x 5.54MN Thrusters replaced with 5x 5MN Thrusters
Radiators rearranged.

Our engineers have found that the new configuration somehow costs less than the original. They are as confused as the rest of us.
