40 Units per Army How-to

Hi everyone,
Do you think that 20 units is not enough, you have to think about which units to prioritize but you want to be available to use far more diverse rosters? Look no more, I made you this little "how-to" to help you to get the job done!

There is no need to download this "mod", it's empty! Just follow the instructions below before going on rampage over the New World...
The counterpart is that you have to edit a savegame for each new campaign you launch.


First of all you will need a program called SaveParser made by Roninx2807, as we will have to modify your savegame.

Then extract all the files into a newly created directory of your choice


Download this file : https://sourceforge.net/projects/saveparser/files/NoGameDataPack.zip/download
Then put the content (only the files in the "NoGameDataPack") in the "Data" directory of your SaveParser directory

Go to the SaveParser main directory now, you will find a SaveParser.ini file, open it with a text editor then find the line where there is "useXMLPackDataFiles = false", set it to "true", save and exit.


Run "SaveParser.exe" located in the newly extracted files



Then click "File", "open savegame" and go to your SaveGame directory
Usually you can locate to: "C:\Users\YOUR_ACCOUNT_NAME\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer2\save_games"
Select your save then click "Open"

Once done, go to "Edit - Global"

Then:
1- Select "40" in the dropdown list
2- Activate the new amount by clicking on "max units in an army"

Now, click on "File" and "save savegame" (or "save savegame as" if you want to keep a backup")

Close the program, launch the game, load your edited savegame (will have a "SP" tag to recognize it) and enjoy your new legions!
