Hey Guys,

This mod changes both the Vortex map and the Mortal Empires map to a much darker and grittier Warhammer experience. Currently the Mortal Empires version is a WIP but I thought I'd share with you guys what I have completed so far. If you have any suggetions please post comments below.

ME Update:

- All Lands are now darker
- Vampire lands extra dark (increased ambient lighting)
- Wood Elves Brighter with emphasized green
- Badlands now tweaked to feel drier
... more to come (pls remember this is a WIP update)

Vortex Map:

- Vortex: area around vortex darkens... to be just like the promo videos and the main menu background screen.
- Ulthuan: darker, more contrast... and less "my little pony" vibe.
- Anvil: I made this darker and more red, I found it was too "pinkish" for my liking.
- Coast of Araby: Lighter, more vibrant sky
- Land of Dead: I made this much darker like an overcast sky, but still daytime.
- Vampire Coast: I made this area VERY dark, basically night time.
- Jungles: I wanted the jungles to be bright, but waaaay less bright than vanilla. Vanilla literally made my eyes bleed.

That's good to hear. I'd miss the ♥♥♥♥ out of this mod in game 3, but no pressure. If it's do-able, I'll chuck you some beer money (not wine money, I'm poor) for improving the experience of WH2 so much

Problem is there's the low and high lighting modes... and I can't make 1 mod that perfects both lighting scenarios. So I'm torn which one to make the mod for at first.

lmaoooo @Moriarty - Yes I have working mod for WH3 that increases FPS and changes the environment lighting for the campaign map and battles. But I do agree WH3 sucks right now, so I've been not that motivated to post the mod lol I couldn't stand the environment lighting for the chaos realms either... just brutal
