Can confirm it still works.

It doesn't seem to work anymore, anyone know one that still does

I can confirm, it still works fine and gives you skill points up o level 50. Only thing is, that in the end the level of my Lord was shown as 74, but I only got points up to 50, so everything is fine.

For the curious, the way this mod works is incredibly simple. The amount of exp required for each level is defined in a table that the game reads from. All this mod does is tack a few new entries to the end of that table for the additional levels and how much exp it takes to achieve them. That's also why the few people reporting some issues here probably have problems on their own end, maybe with conflicts from other mods.

Also, if you're wondering, there's no reason this mod won't work just fine mid game. It changes absolutely nothing that already existed in a game that was started without it, so no problems there. If your lords are at max level 40 and then you add the mod, they will simply start leveling again.

This mod still works fine, no update required. For the few people who mentioned having some problems, because of how the mod works, I'd imagine it's on their end and not with the mod. Even with the upcoming update, unless the devs alter how many levels lords get or how much exp they need per level, it will be forever compatible regardless of the "out of date" indicator.
