Mann vs Machine - Hellburg

NOTE: Please note the release date of this map, 2017.
I created this map very long ago and just wanted it to be a themeatic remake of Rottenburg for Wrath_Of_The_Lamb, one of my favourite missions during it's period of MvM & community servers I played on at the time.
This is a very old project for me and because of that I don't have much interest in remastering it myself or doing maintenance. I'm sorry.
The map should still be 100% playable in TF2 as of you reading this but all this means is I probably won't fix any bugs or errors that appear in it unless they are critical or it's for an important event.
I didn't expect this map to become nearly as popular as it has but thankyou! I hope you enjoy the 2 hour long hellfest me and my buddies loved playing through regularly.
This map isn't representative of my current work standards and most of the stuff I put on steam probably isn't either, i've just moved past working on Map Creation for Team Fortress 2 honestly.

Mvm_hellburg, otherknown as mvm_rottenburg_event, is a halloween varient of the map mvm_rottenburg.
To fully use the map you'll need to install the optimized .nav file and .pop files for this map. they can both be downloaded here:

I recommend avoiding downloading from the Steam Workshop, as it's very confusing and will not provide you all the files you need.
But if you want to go ahead, you'll need the files from the google drive link anyways for the map to work.

As of the 3rd of July 2021, this map has been updated again with numerous fixes and new tools for mission makers to play around with!
Including a Custom Wheel of Doom, a hidden halloween pit, a new spawnpoint for bots and three new custom missions to play on!

As of the 1st of December 2021, this map has received another update.
Main changes includes major rework to the Wheel of Doom, it should now display the current fate on the hud and MULTIPLE FATES ARE DISABLED, PRIMARILY MELEE ONLY, UBERCHARGE AND OTHER UNFAIR SPINS.

Are you Scared? Well you should be, because you're in for a terrifying treat tonight!

I, Merasmus, have put a curse on this modest town, but not just any curse mortal!
I put a VOODOO curse on it!!
But did you think I only put a single curse on this town? Of course not!
Be weary of the Magic Halloween Spells I sprinkled throughout the houses, and of course a Custom made Wheel Of Doom!

The town isn't the only thing cursed however, some of the zombies you fight here (yes, zombies!) may prove to be irregular too!
Can you stand up against this 200% mannly map?

Back into reality, mvm_rottenburg is a map I wanted to make a halloween version of for a very long time, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

List of features:
* A Custom Wheel of Doom with new effects! (Discover them for yourself!)
* Four+ separate tormenting missions to choose from! (If your server owner enables them)
* More pits than one!
* Halloween Spells!
* Pumpkin Bombs!
* Special robot effects, some may be invisible or carrying a special supply of Gym Passes buffing nearby robots

Mission Maker Info:

Spawn locations include:
spawnbot - The standard spawnbot location from the left side cliff

spawnbot_chief - the standard spawnbot from the right side cliff

flankers - same as spawnbot_chief

spawnbot_stealth - this is essentially spawnbot but will apply addcond 66 to the robots which spawn within it~

spawnbot_red - this spawnbot will spawn robots near the door near Red's spawn.
A sound will emit to everyone showing a robot has spawned here

spawnbot_red_silent - exactly the same as the previous spawnbot_red, except it wont emit a sound

spawnbot_kingbuff - Spawns in the same area as spawnbot, but will spawn the bot with a temporary flag which gives surrounding robots all 3 banner effects at once, but without crit immunity

In addition to this, i've added a gate for the pit inside the town and it's called pit_gate_brush
Close will close it, open will open it, simple as that, it starts open~

relay_upgradestation_enable - can be triggered to enable the forward upgrade station mid-wave

relay_upgradestation_disable - can be triggered to disable the forward upgrade station mid-wave if you've enabled it prior

WOD_Spin_relay_timer_spam - (enable to spin wheel every 20-50 seconds)
WOD_Spin_relay_timer_rapidfire - (enable to spin wheel every 30-80 seconds)
WOD_Spin_relay_timer - (enable to spin wheel every 70-120 seconds)
WOD_Spin_relay - (trigger to spin wheel once)
