Ah the Goanna, this one being a Perentie, I just didn't choose that name because I know it as the Goanna, the last living descendants of Varanus priscus that still live in Australia.

@Gamin' Bulldog Well they do hate man made buildings, like alice springs, mostly cause it attracts larger animals that they're afraid of.

Ok well my grandparents recently went to Alice springs where they can be found and they told me when I visited them that they didn't see any reptile at all so...

Man I live in Australia right and I've never seen this goana which I assume is a sand goana, what I have seen is a lace monitor a common sight in Queensland.
