Crusader of Clang

Remenant of long lost Clang empire was found near one of our mining outpousts.
Judging by last entries in the starship's computer, they have attempted to contain the power of the Clang engine.Which ultimately let to their demise as they failed, space-time moved and broke their ship after the engine explosion that resulted in loosing back half of the ship.

Team of best engineers from the whole galaxy was called to try and repair the damanged ship. However the original construction was just too advanced and current technologies werent enough to restore the ship to its former glory. Ultimately the ship was repaired with the standard uranium reactor and ion engines.

Compared to present day dron carriers, Clan empire used them in the front lines like long range alltilery support ships with strong anti-rocket, and anti-air systems. Together with drones bomber squadrones attacking enemy ships from diferent directions, at the same time. Hit and run was the most commonly utilized strategy. It bought time for the drones to reload bombs, ammunition and main canons after the attack.

Because of frequent causalities to Clang, ship crew was very minimal. Even 10 people could run it, thanks to the advanced dron squad control, where 1 operatour could control up to 5 drones simultaneously with ship's AI assist.
