American Eagle Saab 340 Prop by Konkku

THIS IS A PROP NOT A WORKING VEHICLE!

American Eagle is a regional branch of American Airlines. American Eagle operated a fleet of 91 Saab 340s. The airline operated Saab 340s from 1990 to 2008.

This prop was inspired by the real life American Eagle Saab 340A N256AE. The asset was made using vasmir22's fantastic Saab-340 template which can be found here.

could you make a vehicle verison of your saab 340 in american eagle livery? I am making a US city set in the 1980s and it would be great if I had an american eagle saab 340 landing and taking off from my airport.

They are parts of the model that do not move, but they do well the helix effect on planes taking off from the airport, I'm testing it on a C130 model, they do not look bad

@CRISGAMES Interesting. I used to play around with FSX aircraft which had similar prop textures and I've been wondering if they'd work for Cities.

For propellers you can use a simple circle with a transparent fabric of the moving propeller applied. A texture similar to this one http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RJ72gzH0I-w/UD_R4lI3CpI/AAAAAAAAAAk/SVzDoKH1qo4/s1600/RotorBlade.png

@Nee__ Sadly no, the game doesn't currently support propeller aircraft.

@THAT BLOKE WILL An exact 1:1 copy of the REX livery isn't possible but I'll do my best. It will take some time though, I'm very busy IRL at the moment.

Hey man love the saab 340 liveries your making! Was wondering if Regional Express (REX) was an airline you planned to make a prop for in the future? They currently have the biggest fleet of opperational saab 340's in the world to date. (Im an aussie and id also just love to see it) Anyway cheers man!
