The new 2K Launcher won't let people run WotC with mods in the base game SDK (and vice versa), it also can't parse large .XComMod files so fails to recognise the string the WotC SDK adds. The mods are not affected.
But, yeah. As I said: people who use mos should use the Alternate Mod Launcher.
yes it has, it was updated with the new mod launcher, bricking several mods. All you need is the alternate mod launcher to fix that issue.
The game's not been updated since 2018.
