I find that the gun is extremely inaccurate, I have a lot of trouble hitting enemies from anywhere except point-blank range

Oh yeah, and if you get enough feedback about it, you might consider letting it shoot through cover to give the player an easier time using the gun.

•I would shave down the top line of the striped pattern on the stock (shave by 1 pixel). Then change the color of the two struts supporting the scope to the darkger grey, to create depth.

•Also want to say to thicken the barrel to 3 or 4 pixels, maybe slightly longer too, but not sure if that will mess with the proportions too much.

•In-game the gun feels fine. The range is overkill though, even just 600 would be fine, that's already farther than what I can see. Do people with ultra wide screens benefit from increased range? In that case, the super long range might be useful, if they can actually see what they're shooting it.

•I'd bump up the ammo cost to 3 maybe, the piercing was letting me get multikills regularly. That, along with the slow fire rate and needing to line-up shots, kept my ammo above half full the whole time I was using it.
