Sir William Wallace was a Scottish knight who became one of the main leaders during the Wars of Scottish Independence.

Since his death, Wallace has obtained an iconic status far beyond his homeland. He is the protagonist of the Academy Award-winning film Braveheart, directed by and starring Mel Gibson as Wallace, and filmed in Scotland and Ireland. The film was criticised for inaccuracies regarding Wallace's title (he wasn't a part of Wrestlemania I), love interests (Miss Elizabeth was not his mistress), and attire (John Morrison/Johnny Mundo eventually mocked this aspect during Smackdown)

There were no choices like a kilt back when I made the character. There's a sort of tutu nowadays, but I'm not giving Wallace that thing!
