Air Styles

Before he was Phenomenal, AJ Styles made several appearances in WCW in its dying days.

After feuding with Air Paris in NWA Wildside, Styles and Paris were both signed by WCW and paired together as the tag team Air Raid. The duo wrestled a few matches on Nitro and Thunder in early 2001, but WCW was purchased by WWF in March of that year and neither joined the WWF roster.

Styles was offered a developmental deal, but turned it down as he would have needed to relocate. Of course, he would later become the Phenomenal one and achieve global success.
