One of wrestling's biggest tragedies. If not for Chris Benoit, I would have stopped watching wrestling. I was a super WCW fan and I watched mainly for Benoit and Jericho. I was at WrestleMania 20 and I cried openly at the main event. I felt like I won that title with him. WWE has tried erasing those memories, but they stick. I still feel icky watching his matches after what happened, but Fire Pro simming is okay with me.

Four attires (1st is common, 2nd is last, 3rd and 4th are early WWE and WCW). Full stats, moveset, and logic adapted from FPW2 and FPD with minor changes for accuracy.

My single favorite memory/moment from my childhood was seeing Trips tap to the crossface and seeing Eddie and Benoit together at WM20. My favoirte wrestler of all time by far. It is a shame that someone who loved the business as much as him destroyed his legacy in his last days. Thanks for the edit, it is great.

One of the best ever. And his work led me to collecting Japanese tapes (due to Mike Tenay's knowledge about him) and then discovering Dynamite Kid's amazing work in Japan. It's also a shame what happened to his mentor, The Kid, although in a very different way.

As tragic as the Benoit incident is, it's unfortunate that his legacy will be completely buried because of it.

He was an amazing in-ring talent. Great edit.
