Atlatlist: Production cost further reduced down to 28 (30% discount) instead of 36 (archers cost 40).

Now, this unique unit is even more worthwhile and you can take further advantage of its immediate arrival before it quickly becomes too late. Especially, since there are plenty of other things to build that early in the game (including those incredible Pyramids) as you get your fledgling empire up and running. You need to get these Atlatlists out both early and fast.

Also, Atlatlists gain a temporary upgrade cost discount of 23% to compensate for their cheaper production cost, so you don’t have to spend a higher amount of gold to upgrade them. With it, they’ll upgrade at the same cost of regular Archers, which I believe is much fairer. Also, this promotion is lost upon upgrading. So, after they get their upgrade discount, the unit will upgrade normally afterwards.
