Animated In-Game Menu Background

Video got removed and the background doesn't load.

It seems a lot of people are having problems with this. The only possible reason I can think of is that insurgency uses different bakcgrounds for particularly wide screens. If you have a monitor like this that's probably why and I can start working on fixing it right away

Thanks, but I've got mine setup in the exact same way. I even got an animated texture in there with .vtf edit.

Make sure the files are exactly the ones from the mod. The VTF should be 512 by 256, 310 frames, version 7.5, and titled "background_ingame.vtf" The VMT should be titled "background_ingame.vmt" and contain the following: [h1]

I tried making my own version of this, but the menu remained unchanged. Then I went back to try your version, and I'm still having no luck. I even copied the mod file into custom.
