Completed in 2020, at 93 stories, Vista Tower is the 3rd tallest building in Chicago, Illinois. Studio Gang, the firm behind "Aqua", returned to the Lakeshore East neighborhood taller and bolder, hitting a roof height of 1186 feet (361 meters) above the Chicago River.

The building was under construction as of the creation of this asset, so some artistic liberty was taken with respect to parts of the building not clearly visible on official architectural renderings.

A road runs through the base of this building. In the 1:1 scale version, this road is a 4-lane medium-sized road. Due to this, be aware that the building may not be able to be placed along certain road types.

This is the 1:1 Scale version of this building, so it towers over the base game high density buildings. If this scale is too tall for your needs, check out my 1:1.5 Scale version!

I agree, it really needs a better LOD

Thank you for this building but this needs a fix - it looks very bad at greater distance when LOD texture switches. I would suggest removing LOD texture or redoing it. Scaled down version has the same problem.

@J. Navarro Thanks! It's been rather daunting to recreate such a large city. I've taken several LONG breaks from the project as well. I love that I've learned so much about the infrastructure, and interestingly (in my opinion) I've been successful in creating the multi-level road system in the loop area, where commercial vehicles largely use the lower level roads. I'm also trying to lay out and accurately label Chicago's local and regional train lines. I will try to post here when I get back on the project:)

Can you please make a version without the blue lighting effect? It looks really bad on my AMD video card. I'd rather just have the yellow window illumination if it's not too much work.

@Agamemnicon i'd love to see more pictures of your version of chicago, looks pretty good from what i saw on that imgur link.

Love your work! I am using Google maps/satellite view to build Chicago, which shows pretty much nothing in the space the Vista will occupy. Come to the workshop to find this gem. Amazing! And it fits perfectly in the gap I had in my city, so I must be doing something right:)

Just a heads up, please check out these screenshots. When I first placed it in my city, the model seemed to look just fine, but after I updated the RICO settings and reloaded, it has some funny blue lines / squares where the lights eventually show up. When I re-plop the building I get the same thing.
